BOGOTÁ, Colombia—A judge rescinded a house-arrest buy on Saturday against potent previous President Álvaro Uribe, who is remaining investigated for witness tampering in a scenario that has divided Colombia.
Bogotá Judge Clara Ximena Salcedo approved a petition by Mr. Uribe’s lawyers that the residence arrest purchased by the Supreme Court in August should be lifted for the reason that the previous president hasn’t been billed with any crime. Mr. Uribe is still underneath investigation.
