China suspends 6 Indian marine firms’ shipments for a week

Export of frozen seafood products and solutions from 6 India maritime organizations has been suspended by China after new coronavirus nucleic acid had been detected on the packaging elements of their shipments.

China has also turned down the consignments from these firms.

The Standard Administration of Customs of China has suspended accepting of aquatic products and solutions of these 6 firms for a period of just one 7 days after traces of the virus had been found on the outer packages of the seafood products and solutions of their consignments.

Previous 12 months, the Maritime Solutions Exports Progress Authority (MPEDA) had questioned the Chinese notification asking them on the parameters, tests approaches and techniques that had led them to detect the existence of the nucleic acid.

The Chinese authorities had issued a notification in September 2020 after detecting the existence of nucleic acid on the seafood packaging elements. Then, Indian exporters had been instructed that such consignments will be suspended for just one 7 days in the function of the initially detection.
