Queen Elizabeth Calls Off Official Visits for Two Weeks on Medical Advice
Queen Elizabeth will rest for the next two weeks under doctors’ advice, Buckingham Palace said Friday.
The queen, who spent a night last week in a London hospital for what the palace described as “preliminary investigations,” already had pulled out from the United Nations climate-change summit in Scotland next week on medical advice. The new advice is that she should extend her proposed rest.
