Ryanair launches first buy one get one free sale
Ryanair has released its very first “invest in 1, get 1 free of charge” sale in a bid to improve flagging passenger numbers.
Consumers who book a flight just before midnight on Thursday for travel up to December 14 on 1,600 routes will get a 2nd ticket at no further cost.
The move follows the airline’s choice to further lower operations thanks to coronavirus travel constraints.
Its ability in Oct will be 40pc of 2019 amounts, when compared with the 50pc it beforehand introduced.
Ryanair chief government Michael O’Leary explained need for future bookings was awful.
“Into November and December our ahead bookings are working at all around 10pc – that’s about a quarter of exactly where they would normally be at this time of the calendar year,” he advised Sky Information.
“We can’t rule out career losses but in Ryanair we’re absolutely desperately functioning with our people to stop them.”
