

Smartphones maker Oppo India programs to set up a electricity and general performance lab in India to target on enhancement in battery lifetime in the impending devices, specially when 5G solutions are rolled out, a senior company official reported on Friday.


Tasleem Arif, head (study and growth) and vice-president of Oppo India, informed PTI that the business has recorded a 120 per cent bounce in patents that emanated from its India lab.







It aims to continue the momentum in the future 12 months as properly with at least 100 progress in patents, Arif added.

The electric power and general performance lab will be the 3rd lab to be established up by Oppo India at its Hyderabad R&D centre.


He stated innovation from the India lab will be seen in Oppo Reno 7, which will be released in February.
