LONDON—Advisers to Britain’s Prince Andrew denied Monday that he was refusing to cooperate with a U.S. Justice Section probe into disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, soon after U.S. prosecutors made a unusual request by means of a treaty with Britain to secure testimony from the prince.
